The Newest RHMA Missionaries . . . | Print |

Tim and Sonya Pearson are not new to ministry. Tim, a graduate of Cedarville College, has 15 years of experience pastoring in Nebraska — most recently Calvary Bible Evangelical Free Church in Wayne. And the Pearson name is not new to RHMA — his parents, Rob and Wandie, have been Associate Missionaries for the past 13 years. Once they’ve raised their financial and prayer support, Tim and Sonya (and Nevaeh!) will be moving to Alma, Kansas, to pastor New Life Bible Church.

Steve and Esther Poirot are veteran missionaries but new to the RHMA family. They previously served eleven years in Mexico with New Tribes Mission. Both are graduates of New Tribes Bible Institute and Steve has a master’s degree from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. The Poirots are serving as pastor and wife of Lincoln (Illinois) Bible Church.

Jarod and Cassandra Walston live in Mesquite, Texas. Jarod recently graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary and they have accepted a call to the Redington (Nebraska) Community Church. They are presently raising prayer and financial support for this new ministry. The Walstons have two children, Hannah and Hunter.

Gaylord and Dorothy Finch are a veteran small-town ministry couple, having served churches in Arkansas and Minnesota. They have taken "early retirement" and are moving into an intentional interim ministry with RHMA. The Finches are graduates of Faith Baptist Seminary and Gaylord's experience has included prison ministry and fire department chaplaincy.

Internships

RHMA places a high priority on internships. They bring added help and encouragement to our current missionaries in rural America, while at the same time giving valuable experience to Bible college and seminary students. They also provide an opportunity of training new recruits for future RHMA ministry . . .
