There are various short-term opportunities available with RHMA, including ministry and work teams and student internships.

RHMAers Ted and Abbie Burnfield have been serving Bethel Baptist Church in the tiny town of Stanzel, Iowa, for the past two years. In mid-October, six people from supporting churches in Ohio came for a visit on a Wednesday. By Friday afternoon they had built a deck with stairs and ramp onto the front of the Burnfields' parsonage home.

	Stanzel is 50 miles southwest of Des Moines.		The work begins.
	The weather cooperates.		A walker has multiple uses.
	A job well done.		Ted and Abbie enjoy the finished product.

A work team from Grace Bible Church, Washington, Illinois, provided some significant improvements in a week’s time to a newly acquired church building for the Sandhills Church of Hope in Cody, Nebraska. 

We also have a place for long-term missionaries who sense God's calling to join our RHMA family in planting and strengthening churches across small-town and rural America.
