Conference Teaching Library: "Hope for the Useless"
Feeling inadequate or ineffective in ministry? Drawing from the story of Gideon, Bryan Chapell reminds us that God works through fearful, frail, and fallible people. Our usefulness does not depend on our strength or success, but on the grace and power of a God who delights to use the weak for His glory.
Bryan Chapell is President Emeritus of Covenant Theological Seminary, Pastor Emeritus of Grace Presbyterian Church (Peoria, IL), and founder of Unlimited Grace, a preaching and Bible-teaching ministry.
